Thrown onto this stage,
The seemingly endless play of life,
Unknown to most of us.
We are the ignorant cast.
There are those who control,
The invisible strings on our backs,
The masters plotting our every move,
Driving us back and forth like machines.
Then there are those who know,
Who have seen the ends of the stage,
And taken control of their roles,
Free of their strings and bounds of monotony.
The ones who know have left hints,
Which we can use to cut off our strings,
But be wary of the masters above,
As the last thing they want is a red herring as a hero.
But that is the beauty of it all,
On the stage of life everyone is free to create,
Their own story and be the hero of their act,
Eventually exiting the stage and exploring the world beyond…
